Contact Tax Debt Relief Group
Have an IRS problem? Reach out and I will personally respond within one business day.
The Fastest Way to Reach Me
Every message on this page comes to me directly. There is no call center and no intake queue — Tax Debt Relief Group is my practice, and I read what comes in.
If the matter is urgent — a wage garnishment already taking money, a bank levy with a deadline running, a revenue officer who has given you a date — call (407) 531-8705 rather than filling in the form, and say in your voicemail that collection is active. Active collection is time-sensitive in a way that most tax questions are not, and I would rather hear about it by phone.
For everything else, the form above or an email to pete@taxdebtreliefgroup.com works just as well. Both land in the same place.
What to Put in Your Message
You do not need to write an essay, and you should not send sensitive documents in a first email. A few sentences covering the following gets me far enough to give you a useful answer instead of a request for more information:
- What prompted you to get in touch — a notice, a garnishment, unfiled years, an audit letter
- The notice number, if you have a letter in hand (it is printed in the upper right corner)
- Roughly which tax years are involved
- Whether the returns for those years were filed
- Approximately what the IRS says you owe, if you know
- Whether anything is actively happening — garnishment, levy, lien, or a revenue officer assigned
- Whether you are an individual filer, self-employed, or filing for a business
- The best number to reach you on and when you are usually free
Please do not send your Social Security number, bank account numbers, or scanned tax documents in an initial email. Once we are working together I will give you a secure way to send records.
When You Will Hear Back
I respond to messages personally, normally within one business day. Office hours are Monday through Friday, and messages that arrive over a weekend get picked up the following business day. During the filing season in late winter and early spring the queue is heavier, so if something is genuinely time-critical, call rather than email.
If you have not heard from me in two business days, assume something went astray in the mail rather than that you were ignored, and call.
Where I Work
Tax Debt Relief Group operates as a remote practice based in Chuluota, in Seminole County. Most of my clients are across Central Florida — Orlando, Winter Park, Oviedo, Winter Springs, Casselberry, Altamonte Springs, Lake Mary, Sanford, Maitland, Apopka, Kissimmee, St. Cloud, Winter Garden, Clermont, and the Lake County communities out toward Leesburg, Eustis, Tavares, and Groveland.
Because Enrolled Agents are licensed federally rather than by any single state, I can represent taxpayers before the IRS anywhere in the country. Cases are handled by phone, email, and secure document exchange, which is how the great majority of IRS representation work is done regardless of where anyone sits. We do not meet clients at the office address.
What I Can and Cannot Help With
The work I take on is IRS-focused: unfiled returns and getting back into filing compliance, back tax balances, installment agreements, offers in compromise, currently not collectible status, penalty abatement, tax liens and levies, wage garnishments, payroll tax and Form 941 problems, innocent spouse relief, audit representation, appeals, and ongoing tax preparation for individuals and small businesses.
What I am not is a law firm. I am an Enrolled Agent, a tax practitioner licensed by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, not an attorney. If a matter turns out to involve criminal exposure, bankruptcy, or litigation, I will tell you that and point you toward the right kind of professional rather than take it on myself. I also cannot promise you a specific outcome with the IRS before reviewing your transcripts and your finances, and any firm that offers you one over the phone is telling you something it has no way to know.

Questions People Ask Before They Write In
Does it cost anything to contact you?
No. Reaching out and the initial consultation are both free, and neither obligates you to anything.
Will I be talking to a salesperson?
No. This is a solo practice. The person who reads your message is the person who would handle your case.
Can you help me if I am not in Florida?
Yes. Enrolled Agent licensing is federal, so representation before the IRS is available in all fifty states.
Can I come to the office?
The practice is remote and we do not see clients at the address. Everything is handled by phone, video, email, and secure document exchange.
I owe state taxes too. Is that something you handle?
Mention it when you write in and I will tell you honestly whether it is something I can take on or whether you would be better served elsewhere. The core of my practice is federal IRS work.
How quickly can something actually be done about a garnishment?
It depends on the stage the case is at and on how quickly authorization and financial information can be put together. Some situations move quickly and others do not, and nobody can tell you which yours is without looking at the account first. Call rather than email if this is your situation.
Is my information kept private?
Yes. What you send is used only to evaluate and, if we proceed, to handle your matter. It is not sold or shared with third parties. Submitting the form does not by itself create a client relationship.
